Fairmont Hotel Vancouver featured on ABC’s “The Bachelorette”

If you’re a fan of ABC’s hit show “The Bachelorette”, then you probably saw one of the best Vancouver hotels featured on the current season with Jillian Harris.

The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, located in downtown Vancouver, played host to Jillian and several of her suitors, and got to show off many of the hotel’s impressive features and amenities.  Jillian’s suitors were accommodated in one of the impressive suites with three bathrooms to make quick work of the pre-date preparations.  The pre-rose ceremony reception was hosted in the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Morningside Suite.  The rose ceremony itself was held in the hotel’s historic Boardroom.

Along with the Vancouver hotel being featured, many of Vancouver’s top attractions were also shown in the episode.  Some of the dates included a romantic dinner at Grouse Mountain Resort located in North Vancouver, a kayaking excursion to Granville Island near Downtown Vancouver and a romantic picnic in the world famous Stanley Park.  Also featured was a Vancouver harbour cruise aboard the classic luxury yacht, Pacific Yellowfin, complete with a Dungeness crab dinner.  Jillian also had the guys compete in a competitive game of Curling! Curling is a true Canadian sport that will be part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
