Luxury Hotels in Vancouver
If you’re going to visit a city like Vancouver, in British Columbia, you’re going to want to live as though you belong there. Vancouver is one of the most expensive cities in the world; this means people have money, and when people have money, they’re expected to spend that money. And that includes its hotels.
There are a high number of luxury hotels in Vancouver, each with its own distinctive style and at least one very distinctive feature of high quality living. For instance, it’s hard to beat the Loden Vancouver Hotel’s Halo Penthouse suite, with its 1,600 square feet of interior space, two bedrooms, spa-zoned bathroom, 52” LCD TV, dining room area that can seat six, and a large outdoor terrace for entertaining up to 30 people, with views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.
Then there’s the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver Hotel and its Royal Suite, which got its name when Queen Elizabeth II stayed there. This is a split level, 2,000 square foot opulent standout of space that includes a dining area that sits 8, a pantry kitchen, and a large private terraced balcony, as well as two bedrooms, and offers a great view of the harbor and city skyline.
And of course, you have luxury hotels like The Wedgewood, whose spa won the “Best Day Spa in Vancouver” award, and is a member of Relais & Châteaux, an exclusive collection of the top hotels and gourmet restaurants in the world. Not only do the top suites in the hotel have Jacuzzi’s in them, but every suite in the hotel has one. The only difference is that the Jacuzzi’s in the top suites are double Jacuzzi’s; never seems to be enough room in a Jacuzzi, does it?
Of course there are plenty of other luxury hotels, including the one hotel that’s a tourist attraction in and of itself, that being the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, which overlooks Christ Church Cathedral, another of the most popular tourist attractions in Vancouver. All one has to do is take a little bit of time, decide how they want to be pampered and spoiled, and Vancouver will offer it to you.
